About
This project was part of a major Design System documentation for a large financial company to be used by the design team when building forms across products globally. And my role was to focus specifically on FORMS.
My role
I was responsible for creating component documentation, gather examples of form usage and its user types and, from then, build the Guidelines for Forms (including a Question Protocol), which included all the steps and sections whilst constructing a form and the best practices accordingly to the use cases; i.e. customers applying for a loan, internal staff awaiting RH approval, joint mortgage application.
DOCUMENTATION
As this documentation was created to instruct company’s designers on how to create forms to address their own users, it was designed as a textbook and examples (gathered from stakeholders and usability tests as mentioned above) to provide context to the reader.
Along with Usability.gov website, Web Form Design by Luke Wroblewski (book) was also a reference to meet the ends for this documentation.
